Purpose
Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets the ground rules for using glinr.com and our products (Glink, Label, and Quarter). It expands on the Acceptable Use section of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the Services.
We keep this policy short and specific. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, email [email protected] before you do it.
Prohibited Uses
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Services to:
Break the law, or help anyone else break the law.
Distribute malware, phishing pages, or other harmful or deceptive content.
Infringe intellectual property, publish content you do not have the right to publish, or violate someone's privacy.
Harass, threaten, defame, or harm other people.
Promote or facilitate fraud, scams, or money laundering.
Publish sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children.
System Security and Integrity
System Security and Integrity
Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or the systems and networks behind them.
Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems except through our vulnerability disclosure process (see /legal/security).
Do not interfere with or disrupt the Services, for example by overwhelming them with traffic, or by circumventing rate limits, quotas, or access controls.
Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data beyond what the published API and its rate limits permit.
Product-Specific Rules
Product-Specific Rules
Glink (short links): do not shorten links to malware, phishing, or content that violates this policy. Do not use short links to disguise a destination for deceptive purposes, or to evade spam filters.
Label (QR codes): the same destination rules apply. A QR code that resolves to prohibited content is a violation, whether or not the code itself looks harmless.
Quarter (money OS): Quarter is for your own financial information or that of clients you are authorized to act for. Do not use Quarter to process another person's financial data without authorization, and do not rely on its estimates as financial, tax, or legal advice.
Enforcement
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take action we consider appropriate, including removing content, disabling short links or QR codes, throttling access, and suspending or terminating accounts.
For serious or repeated violations, or where required to protect users or comply with the law, we may act immediately and without prior notice. Where practical, we tell you what happened and why.
Suspension or termination for a violation does not entitle you to a refund of prepaid fees.
Reporting Abuse
Reporting Abuse
To report content or behavior that violates this policy, email [email protected] with the details (the link, QR code, or account, and what is wrong). Security vulnerabilities go to [email protected].
We review reports promptly and act on the ones that violate this policy.
