Terms of Service

Effective date: April 8, 2026. These terms govern your use of Glinr and its services. By creating an account you agree to be bound by them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Glinr (glinr.com) — including the dashboard, API, CLI, or any associated service — you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access

Authentication is handled by KavachOS. Glinr does not store raw passwords. You must not share your account with third parties outside of a Team or Scale plan seat.

3. Services

Glinr provides a managed deployment platform that lets you deploy backend applications (Node.js, Python, Go, and other supported runtimes) by pushing code. Glinr Cloud runs on Hetzner (EU) and Azure (US) infrastructure. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice
  • Impose resource limits (CPU, memory, bandwidth, concurrent deployments) per plan
  • Update the platform software, including the build pipeline and runtime environments

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use Glinr to:

  • Host malware, spyware, ransomware, or any malicious code
  • Conduct cryptocurrency mining, DDoS attacks, or network scanning without explicit authorisation
  • Distribute child sexual abuse material or any content that violates applicable law
  • Infringe intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Circumvent resource limits or quotas through multiple trial accounts
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Glinr Cloud infrastructure without prior written permission
  • Violate the terms of any third-party service integrated with your deployment

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without refund.

5. Payment & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Current pricing:

  • Trial — $0 for 14 days
  • Pro — $12/month
  • Team — $29/month
  • Scale — $49/month

All fees are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes. You authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on each billing cycle. If a charge fails, we will retry up to three times over five days before suspending your account.

Subscriptions automatically renew each month until cancelled. Cancel any time from the billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days, except where required by applicable law.

Pricing may change. We will give at least 30 days notice by email before a price increase takes effect on your subscription.

6. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. There is no permanent free tier. During the trial you get access to the Pro plan feature set.

Important trial terms:

  • If you do not subscribe to a paid plan before the trial ends, your account is automatically suspended
  • All deployments, services, environment variables, and logs associated with a suspended trial account are permanently deleted 24 hours after suspension — no recovery is possible after this point
  • One trial per person or organisation — creating multiple accounts to extend a trial violates these terms
  • We send reminder emails at 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before trial expiry

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your code and content deployed through Glinr. By deploying code you grant Glinr a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, run, and serve that code solely to provide the service.

The Glinr dashboard, API, and proprietary platform software are owned by Glinr and protected by copyright and trade secret law. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the proprietary platform.

8. Open Source Agent (Connected Cloud)

The Glinr Agent — the software that runs on a VPS to bridge it with the Glinr control plane — is open source under the Apache License 2.0. You are free to inspect, fork, and run it on your own infrastructure.

Connected Cloud (BYOV — Bring Your Own VPS) specific terms:

  • You are solely responsible for the security, availability, and maintenance of your server
  • Glinr does not guarantee connectivity or performance for Connected Cloud deployments — we can only manage what the agent reports
  • You are responsible for compliance with your VPS provider's terms of service
  • Glinr is not liable for data loss or downtime caused by your server or provider
  • Removing the agent from your server terminates Glinr's ability to manage that server — your deployments continue to run but are unmanaged

9. Data & Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and handle data. Key points:

  • Environment variables are encrypted at rest using AES-256
  • Build logs and deployment logs are retained for 30 days on Pro, 90 days on Team and Scale
  • We do not sell your data or your application data to third parties
  • We may process usage data to improve the platform and detect abuse

10. Uptime & SLA

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the control plane (dashboard, API, deployment triggers). Glinr Cloud deployment runtime targets 99.5% monthly uptime per deployment.

Scheduled maintenance windows are announced at least 48 hours in advance and do not count against uptime. Downtime caused by factors outside our control — including upstream cloud provider incidents, BGP routing issues, or DDoS attacks — does not count against SLA.

SLA credits (where offered) are your sole remedy for downtime. Credits are applied to the next billing cycle on request and do not exceed the monthly subscription fee.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from account settings. On cancellation your deployments continue running until the end of the billing period, then are suspended and deleted within 7 days.

Glinr may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice or refund, for material breach of these terms, non-payment after the retry period, or if we are required to do so by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email where legally permitted.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Glinr is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Glinr's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these terms is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim
  • Glinr is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you in full.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Glinr is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of Glinr after that date constitutes acceptance. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
