Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 8, 2026
Glinr runs your code on shared infrastructure. This policy exists to keep the platform safe and reliable for everyone. Violating it may result in service suspension or account termination.
You may not use Glinr to
- Mine cryptocurrency or run GPU-intensive workloads not related to your application
- Host, distribute, or link to malware, ransomware, or phishing pages
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or run open mail relays
- Scrape websites without permission or violate robots.txt directives at scale
- Run denial-of-service attacks or traffic amplification against any target
- Host content that violates applicable law (CSAM, illegal goods, fraud)
- Attempt to access other users' containers, data, or network traffic
- Circumvent resource limits, billing enforcement, or abuse free tier allocations
- Use the platform for load testing or benchmarking other services without our written permission
- Store or process regulated data (HIPAA, PCI-DSS cardholder data) unless you are on a plan that explicitly supports it
Resource limits
Each plan has defined CPU, memory, and bandwidth limits. We enforce these per container. If your service consistently exceeds its limits, we'll notify you before taking action. Repeated overages may result in throttling or a request to upgrade.
Free tier services that are idle for more than 15 minutes may be paused automatically. They restart on the next incoming request.
Network isolation
Each account's containers run in isolated Docker networks. You may not attempt to probe, scan, or access containers belonging to other accounts. Outbound traffic is unrestricted by default but may be rate-limited if we detect abuse patterns.
Connected Cloud (BYOV)
If you connect your own server, you are responsible for securing the underlying OS, SSH access, and firewall rules. The Glinr agent manages containers and proxy routing but does not patch or update your server. We are not liable for data loss or breaches on your own infrastructure.
Enforcement
If we identify a violation, we will:
- Notify you by email with the specific issue
- Give you 24 hours to resolve it (unless the violation is severe or illegal)
- Suspend the affected service if the issue persists
- Terminate your account in cases of repeated or serious violations
For illegal content or active attacks, we may suspend immediately without notice. We cooperate with law enforcement when legally required.
Reporting abuse
If you believe a Glinr-hosted service violates this policy, email [email protected] with the service URL and a description of the issue. We respond within 24 hours on business days.
